Rita Ora is a Kosovan born, West London raised, 21 year old singer/songwriter - who signed to the Jay-Z label after just one phone call.
She has been working alongside some of the world’s top producers including Dream, Chase and Status, Stargate, The Runners, Esther Dean and many more.
You may know her from the DJ Fresh, Brit hit single ‘Hot Right Now’, but Rita is set to break grounds both sides of the pond in 2012 with her debut solo material. Her first single "R.I.P" features some of music's hottest innovators – it's penned by Drake, produced by Chase & Status and features Tinie Tempah.
She says, "..to be different you have to sound different. I love pop music but I do it with an edge. I want to bring that whole British style to America; I think we take different chances musically."
