The Script is a pop-rock band that was formed in 2001 in Dublin, Ireland. The Script currently consists of lead singer/keyboardist Denny O'Donoghue, drummer Glen Power and guitarist Mark Sheehan. The band also tours with three other members to aid during live performances. O'Donoghue and Sheehan were best friends since the age of 12, and they were even in a boy band together as teenagers. After spending some time as music producers, O'Donoghue and Sheehan decided to form their own band. A year after forming the band, The Script would release their self-titled debut album in August of 2008. The album was met with mixed reviews from critics, but it was popular with fans new and old, alike. "The Script" would eventually hit number 1 on the UK music charts, and it would reach #64 in the United States. The album has currently sold over 2 million copies in Europe. After experiencing great success with their debut album, The Script would waste no time releasing their second album, "Science & Faith". "Science & Faith" reached number 1 in the UK and number 3 on the music charts in the United States. The album has currently sold over 1.5 million copies throughout the world. The Script would release their third album "#3" in September 2012. After two number 1 albums in the United Kingdom, "#3" would only reach number 2 on the UK charts. After taking some time to embark on a massive tour with One Republic, The Script released their fourth album, "No Sound Without Silence", in September of 2014.
