Live on Letterman is hitting a hot streak. In a one-punch, the famed Webcast concert series is bringing a couple of must-see shows to New York's famed Ed Sullivan Theater. Those who have caught Band of Horses blasting through songs like "Laredo" know that the Seattle band is all about joyous disruption onstage. Their Mirage Rock disc hits this month, and they celebrate with a Letterman show on Monday, September 17, the night before its arrival. The record's lead track is "Knock Knock," which they're sure to tear apart that night.
Then on Monday, September 24, Gotye takes the stage. The Belgian songwriter is riding high after a summer of massive ubiquity for his "Somebody That I Used To Know," which found him using Kimbra's ethereal voice to put the track on the top of charts. Gotye will be performing songs from his Making Mirrors disc. Both shows start at 8 pm ET/5 pm ET.
The shows will be streamed live on VEVO, its mobile apps, and CBS.com. The performances will be available for VOD at a later date.
