An Arizona-raised, Santa Monica, California-based singer, producer, and songwriter, Adam Friedman's breezy, hook-driven pop confections suggest a wide array of influences, from John Mayer and Jack Johnson to Blink-182 and Coldplay. An early encounter with "Hooked on Phonics" led to a fascination with the concept of a tape machine, and by high school, Friedman had taken to producing music for local commercials. He attended the Berklee School of Music, and after graduating, penned the theme song "Glorious" for the 2016 animated comedy film Rock Dog. The track caught the ear of Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Mike Posner, and the two began collaborating, with Adam helping out with Posner's 2016 LP At Night, Alone, and Posner appearing on Friedman's debut EP, Green. ~ James Christopher Monger
