Urban contemporary singer Adina Howard burst on the scene in 1995 with her debut DO YOU WANNA RIDE? and its single “Freak Like Me.” The success of the single and Howard’s hyper-sexual image created a stir, but Elektra shelved the singer’s follow-up album. Howard collaborated with Jaime Foxx’s on the 1998 slow jam “T Shirt and Panties,” and appeared in the independent film HIGH FREAKQUENCY. THE SECOND COMING, Howard’s official sophomore release, was issued in 2004 on a new label. 2007 found the singer switching labels yet again to issue PRIVATE SHOW. The singer continues to record, perform, and work on films.
