London, England's Babs Savage is a neo-soul/pop singer and songwriter with a background in jazz and cabaret performance. In the mid-2010s, Savage sought out Chicago producer Rickey Rainbow to help fine-tune her sound for recording, and in 2015 they released the single "La La," an approachable, scratch-dotted dance-club cover version of the 1968 Delfonics hit "La La Means I Love You" that incorporated samples of the original. Her forthcoming album, Savage Rainbows, was produced by Rainbow. ~ Marcy Donelson
