Spanish star Camilo Sesto started his music career while playing in a band called Los Botines, mostly influenced by the Beatles. After meeting producer Juan Pardo, the artist decided to go solo, releasing his first record which included the hit songs "Fresa Salvaje" and "Algo de Mi," soon after. By 1974, Sesto was known throughout Latin America. The climax of his career came when he played the main role in the spanish version of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1975. Three years later, his song "El Amor de Mi Vida," became one of his major hits. ~ Drago Bonacich
