R&B singer Chante Moore mixes urban contemporary, jazz, and gospel influences for a smooth, soulful sound. PRECIOUS, the artist’s debut, appeared in 1992 and went gold, followed by three more solo releases that found Moore honing her elegant style. Moore had songs on the soundtracks of the popular films STELLA GOT HER GROOVE BACK and WAITING TO EXHALE, heightening her profile. Moore has worked with El Debarge, the Isley Brothers, Kenny G., producer Jermaine Dupri, and—perhaps most notably--her husband, the singer Kenny Lattimore, with whom she released two albums, THINGS THAT LOVERS DO (2003) and UNCOVERED/COVERED (2006). Moore put another notch on her solo discography with 2008’s LOVE THE WOMAN.
