Beginning as a quirky alt-pop group and evolving into a more rock-oriented act over the years, Eisley featured various members of the DuPree clan, a highly musical family based in Tyler, Texas. Formed by a trio of sisters in 1997 while the youngest was just eight years old, the band took inspiration from the Beatles, Radiohead, and Jeremy Enigk on their early EPs and 2005 debut album, Room Noises. As time went on, Eisley weathered changes to their sound and lineup, incorporating more rock and singer/songwriter elements into their approach as the bandmembers entered their twenties and beyond. ~ Heather Phares
