Gary Llama first became active in the punk rock scene in Richmond,
Virginia during the early 1990s with his band 500$Fine. In 2000, he
began working on a solo record, and releasing under aliases. First as
Silence Is Suicide, and then as F-Box. In the late 2010, he began
recording instrumental music as Cinema Society, before going into
electronic music as Imagination Society, which led to collaborations
with artist Ben FM and the group Mineral Writes with emcee Timbo King.
Gary's brand of punk rock varies from the singer/songwriter genre to
post-punk, but all the while incorporating the punk rock ethics and
spirit he learned as a kid. His latest full length, The Beauty of Music
is a reflection of this.
