An accomplished musician, actress, model, author, and playwright, Helena Noguerra was born in Belgium but relocated to Paris as a teenager to enjoy success as a model. Forays into film, radio, and television followed, and Helena tentatively entered the musical arena in 1989 with the single "Lunettes Noires." Nine years later, she sang several songs on Ollano's debut album and launched a solo career career with Bikini. Helena returned in 2001 with Azul, an album that combined her dusky vocals with bossa nova rhythms. Helena's first novel was published the following year, and she continued her diverse career by releasing a series of albums in the late 2000s. ~ Andrew Leahey
