Comprised of New Jersey-born DJ/Producer Double-O and Chicago native MC Naledge, the underground hip-hop duo known as Kidz in the Hall came together at the University of Pennsylvania. The duo’s demo tapes and local performances eventually caught the attention of producer Just Blaze. After signing with recently resurrected Rawkus Records in 2006, Kidz in the Hall released their debut, SCHOOL WAS MY HUSTLE, to critical and popular acclaim. Hailed as a revival of the classic MC/DJ format beloved by hip-hop purists, the LP spawned the single “Wheels Fall Off (’06 Til…).” After breaking with Rawkus, the duo signed with Duck Down, releasing their sophomore album, THE IN CROWD, in 2008.
