Los De La Noria is a Sinaloan acoustic vocal trio whose Mexican Regional sound is comprised of equal parts rancheras, corridos, and romantic ballads. Formed in 2015, Antonio "Lucas" Ramírez, from Mocorito, plays tuba; lead vocalist and bajo sexto guitarist Eduardo "Lalo" Gurrola is also from Mocorito, while 12-string guitarist Osvaldo Ruíz is originally from Guasave.
The trio came together after trying their individual hands in other bands. Finding an uncommon camaraderie in classic and contemporary norteño songs, they got together, came up with both an original way of singing together and writing compelling arrangements, and began making YouTube videos. Their debut promotional single, "Cartas Macadas," got plenty of airplay at border radio stations, and together with the burgeoning number of video viewers, earned them a record deal with Disa. In 2017, the pre-release single "Tendras Que Renunciar a Mi" placed on both the Latin Airplay and Mexican Regional Songs charts, while "Desde Que la Vi" placed on the latter. Their debut album, named for the latter single, was issued in September of 2017. ~ Thom Jurek
