Formed in Spain in the 1990s, Los Rodriguez was comprised of two Argentines and two Spaniards. The group’s sound featured a wildly eclectic mix of blues, flamenco, ranchera, funk, rumba, and straightahead rock. BUENA SUERTE, the band’s debut appeared in 1991, but Los Rodriguez found greater success with releases such as SIN DOCUMENTOS (1993) and PALABRAS MAS, PALABRAS MENOS, each of which spawned a number of hit singles. The group disbanded in 1997, but their sophisticated mix of styles and chart success established them as one of Europe’s premiere Rock en Espanol acts.
