R&B outfit Mint Condition hail from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and consist of highly skilled musicians with diverse stylistic abilities, which are reflected in the group’s sound, incorporating funk, hip-hop, club music, ballads, and jazz elements. Released in 1991, Meant to be Mint, their debut, yielded the hit single “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes).” From the Mint Factory surfaced in 1993, and singles from the album also enjoyed chart success, as did cuts from 1996’s Definition of a Band. At the turn of the century they signed with Elektra and released Life's Aquarium. They also established their own record label, Caged Bird Records. ~ Anthony Tognazzini
