The Mash Out Posse, composed of Billy Danze and Lil Fame (aka Fizzy Womack), have been unleashing their lyrical fury ever since their seminal 1993 single, “How About Some Hardcore.” Frequent collaborations with DJ Premier along with the duo’s trademark rowdy rap style--which combines high-energy, shouted lyrics with onomatopoeic gun blasts to spin tales of cartoonish violence and street struggle--have made M.O.P. a favorite in New York’s underground hip-hop scene. Perennially transient label-wise, M.O.P. has released albums for Select, Relativity, and Loud.
