At the age of nine, multilingual Spanish singer and actor Rafael Martos won a children's festival where contestants from all over Europe were competing. Raphael represented Spain at the Eurovision Music Festival with his song "Yo Soy Aquel" in 1966, and returned to Eurovision the following year with "Hablemos de Amor." By that time, the artist's popularity had reached America, allowing him to perform at New York's Madison Square Garden. In 1987, Raphael celebrated the 25th anniversary of his career, making history by uniting 114,000 fans at Santiago's Bernabeu Stadium.
