Formed out of the ashes of two Vancouver bands, Shocore was the brainchild of both Terry Murray and Cory White, former lead singer of DDT. In 2000, the pair decided to form their own group and set about recording almost 30 songs. The band's first single was released in summer 2001, which received extensive airplay in both Canada and the United States. The band's music is also available on some video games and will be including in certain television programs. In September 2001, the band released its debut album, Devil Rock Disco. ~ Jason MacNeil
