Sum 41's mixture of punk-pop riffing, hip-hop poses, and toilet-bowl humor landed the Ontario-based act a deal with Island in 1999, resulting in thefun-filled full-length All Killer No Filler. The singles "In Too Deep" and "Fat Lip" became staples of both modern rock radio, and an extensive tour followed. In 2002, they returned with Does This Look Infected?, followed by a pair of slightly more mature and serious efforts, Chuck and Underclass Hero. ~ Johnny Loftus
