St. Louis metalcore band Tear Out the Heart formed in 2011 with singer Tyler Konersman, guitarists Josh Spohr and Matthieu Murphy, bass player Isaac Etter, and drummer Matt Epstein. After releasing a self-titled EP in 2011 and the Hell Is Empty EP in summer 2012, the quintet signed with Victory Records. Their full-length debut, Violence, was released in 2013. The following year, the band played shows including Rob Zombie's Great American Nightmare and began work in the studio on their second album. Recorded by Caleb Shomo of Attack Attack!, the more emotionally open and melodic Dead, Everywhere was released in early 2015. ~ Marcy Donelson
