William Clark Green
Texas-based singer/songwriter William Clark Green makes heartfelt and personal country music that touches upon Cajun and Americana styles. A native of Flint, Texas, Green began writing music in his teens and recorded his first album, 2008's Dangerous Man, while attending Texas Tech in Lubbock. In 2010, Green returned with his sophomore album, Misunderstood. After leaving Lubbock, Green relocated to Eastland, Texas and in 2013 released his third full-length album, Rose Queen, featuring the single "She Likes the Beatles." The album eventually peaked at 34 on the U.S. Country Albums chart as Green's reputation grew beyond his home state. In 2015 Green dropped his fourth album, Ringling Road, which climbed to 18 on the U.S. Country Albums chart. ~ Mark Deming
